[There's a very long pause after this. Did he forget he was recording or something?

Where did he go?

No- wait, there he is.]

I need to- ask you something. I figured you'd... get it, since you've got the whole... superhero. Thing. Going on.

[Dodger's always been some level of a smooth talker in their previous correspondence... this time, though, he sounds like a child whose mother is pushing them to apologize for something.]

[Ah? It's that fellow, Dodger! He had ran into him before with — odd results, and he certainly is a bit flustered to think about any of that all over again. But if there's something he needs, perhaps there's something he can do for him! The strong, confident voice of All Might rumbles through the feed.]

[For a few moments he hesitates again, trying to come up with a good summary of his issue.]

I want to stop- being a criminal. And I've tried before, I've been trying, I just- it's in my blood, I guess. And I guess I wanted to know if- uh...

...You got any advice for being a good person if you just- y'know, don't really get those instincts to help other people? It always- gets boring, behaving myself and all. But I'm just- sick of everything fu- of everyone hating me. I wanna feel like there's- a point sticking around here, when everyone worthwhile is gone.

[This is some wierdly heavy shit to throw at a guy he just flirts with off and on. But... every other 'hero type' has given Dodger unsatisfactory answers, or openly accused him of being deceitful. He's really just hoping for a new perspective.]

But All Might is nothing if not resilient in offering the most he can, be it rescue or advice.

[He shrugs awkwardly, even though All Might can't see it.]

It worked for me before. The world I lived in... it was hard to make it without breaking a few heads. Being willing to do anything for your next meal. Y'know. Here, though...

[There's another pause.]

...I don't know. There's people here that I care about, who hate me or- they're scared of me, because of how I act when I lose my temper. I keep trying to- figure out how to make them like me. I want them to like me. But it doesn't work and everyone- I've asked keeps giving me useless advice.

I just want someone to miss me when I die. I don't have much longer, I can feel it.

[His eyes blink wide. And boy, he knows that feeling a bit too personally, though his is fore-ordained by a quirk-user with the power to see the future. Surely the same can't be said here — can it? Or is this guy just anxious about the shortness of life, especially if he leads a life like he's suggesting...?]

What makes you feel such a thing?

I work for a man that's explicitly told me he'll kill me once he gets bored of keeping me alive. I've given up trying to kill him, or get him caught, or just getting away from him... none of it works. Keeping him happy is the only thing saving me right now.

[This got a lot deeper than he was planning for. He groans softly.]

I know this isn't your problem. I should just stick to trying to get in your pants, huh?

Young man, this sounds like a concerningly abusive relationship you're in. I think this is something you should bring to the full attention of the Perimeter Guard, or the local authorities. [He holds his arms, thoughtful.] And it may not be my problem, but I'm more than happy to help — even if it's only to try and help you find appropriate resources for help...!

He's part of the perimeter guard. I've already gotten arrested twice for trying to defend myself against him.

[Here he switches to video, and holds up his left arm; it's had a lot of time to heal, but the skin is still scarred and warped.]

And he skinned my arm the last time I misbehaved.

[He purses his lips, and shakes his head.]

If you wanna help with him, you'd have to kill him. He's the type of person that you're not safe around until his head's cut off.
